Before our introduction, a question: WHAT IS YOUR MOST SACRED, PROFOUND TRUTH?
Take a moment- absorb the ask. Step away for a day if you need to, but know I’ll be circling back to you for an answer at the end of the page.
Meanwhile, a confession: we believe “branding” is a tired trope. Simply put, the gold is in YOU and our mission is to amplify ARTIST IDENTITY and MESSAGING like a Fairchild 670. 😉

Aforementioned mentioned, your next question is why I (Brooke R. Calder) / we (see MEET YOUR TEAM) are uniquely qualified to help you.
One phrase sums it up: INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. We’ve each been in or led touring bands, marketing initiatives and style campaigns. Every single one of us fought our battles on the street (flyering and postering), on national and/or international stages, in recording studios, across social media, and with carefully coordinated in-print press as well as ads.

My story: I came into the business in the mid-1990s. After being cast as a dancer for Prince, I worked every angle of the music business, starting with a studio apprenticeship for Morris Hayes. My work ethic putting projects together eventually led to collaborations with Grammy award winning, Billboard charting and/or Top of The Pops talents Doctor Fink, Jean-Marc Lederman, Jellybean Johnson, John Matthews, Monte Moir, Scarlet Fantastic, The Lords of Acid, The Nature of Wires and too many independent acts to cite in a single sitting.
I also…
- Studied Media Relations, Music Business and Product Management, culminating in a 2.5+ year internship with Twin/Tone Records.
- Post Twin/Tone, worked as a personal assistant to Chris Strouth at the American Composer’s Forum, followed by several years with Monte Moir of Warner Brothers and Lagoon Records.
- Spent 3 years as a music journalist for PULSE, interviewing David Bowie, Dave Navarro, Thomas Mapfumo and countless others.
- Served a year as Director of Communications for Rock The Cause.
- Was mentored in production and songwriting by former Jam & Lewis team members Moir and Johnson. During this period, I also helped build and market social media for The Time ahead of their 50th Annual Grammy Awards appearance.
- Co-fronted U.K. Synthpop act POP INC. for half a decade (and did time in assorted independent acts before and after).
- Segued into television soundtracks with Phil Solem.
- Co-founded boutique electronic label Manual Control Records.
- Currently serve as an advisor for the Minneapolis Sound Museum.
Now that we’ve met, the question remains: WHAT IS YOUR MOST SACRED, PROFOUND TRUTH?
Mine is that I was put here to help YOU.
